Mahjong (also known as Mah Jong or Mah Jongg) is a Chinese game played with tiles. It is a game of strategy and skill and can be played alone as mahjong solitaire (online) or traditionally with other players.

The objective of mahjong solitaire (the most commonly played online version of mah jong) is to match tiles in pairs and discard them from the board until no tiles remain. To match pairs of tiles, you need to click on the exact matching pairs or pairs from the same category eg. pairs of flowers or pairs of seasons. Different mahjong puzzles are available depending on the game provider and your level but this is typically how the online puzzle version of the game is played. There are other versions such as Mahjongg Dimensions and Mahjongg Toy Chest but these types of games show little resemblance to the original Chinese game.

Mahjong puzzles can by played online in a variety of ways. You can buy the game for a small fee and download it onto your computer.
